The company is a combination of producers, drillers, and suppliers of Sarawak flour, either on private farms or in cooperation with the gardeners around the interior.

The company was established to export products and Sarawak flour in bulk or packaging, as well as sales services to customers. Thus, the company has a high commitment to the quality of the products and services provided.

Nang Ori refers to the Malay language of Sarawak, which means products that are genuine. Nang means "right," while Ori means "original" (original). This slogan implies that the Nang Ori Black Pepper is a genuinely original product and originates in the state of Sarawak.
