With a rich academic background, he was a professor at Shandong Agriculture University in China from 1985 to 1996. Following this, he expanded his expertise as a visiting scholar at Texas Tech University and later as a Research Scientist at the University of California, Davis in the USA. In 2007, Mike Liu founded BCFoods, a global food ingredients supply platform known for its innovative "four in one" operation model - "Made by BCFoods, Made for BCFoods, Trade with BCFoods, and Service by BCFoods." Under his leadership, BCFoods has established plants in India, China, and the USA, with distribution services spanning across more than 40 countries worldwide. As the founding President of BCFoods, Mike Liu collaborates with CSA colleagues to set national food ingredient standards in China. He also works closely with international professional associations to drive market development and enhance global spice trade business practices for sustainable growth and development.
China Spice Association is the offical association for China Spice industry, including manufactures, exporters, importers and related research and testing agencies. We are one of 46 associations under China CNFA and responsible for national industry standards, market and technology information exchanges and help to develop spice and seasoning import and export business. Avery year we host international spice confernce in the last quarter with 300 to 400 delegates worldwide gathering together, Currently Mike Liu is the president and Yi Li is the secerary general.
