THE 53rd ANNUAL SESSIONS AND MEETINGS OF THE IPC AND INTERNATIONAL SPICE EXHIBITION
IPC holds regular Session and Meetings every year which is hosted by the IPC member country on a rotation basis. Each member country is represented by a delegate with plenipotentiary authority to the Session. This year, the 53rd Annual Session and Meetings of IPC and International Spice Exhibition (53rd IPC ASM ISE) will be hosted by the Government of India and organized jointly by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry India, the Spices Board India and the International Pepper Community (IPC) in Le Meridien Kochi, India from 27th - 30th October 2025.
The theme of "Revitalizing Pepper Trade: Innovation, Equity, and Regional Resilience". As globalization enters a fragmented phase, global value chains, including those of spices, are being restructured. For IPC member countries, this calls for a strategic realignment of trade models toward more regional, innovation-led, and equity-centered approaches. The goal is not merely survival in the new trade order, but co-leadership in shaping its future.
This theme emphasizes innovation that is inclusive and scalable, equitable trade mechanisms, and regional cooperation as tools for revitalizing and future-proofing pepper trade. It seeks to elevate member states with varying levels of infrastructure and capacity, so no country is left behind.
