Natan Kambuno officially served as Director of Trade Security on August 30, 2021.

Born in Tana Toraja in 1968, he earned a Bachelor's degree in English from Hasanudin University in 1991 and a Master of Science (Administrative Science) from the University of Indonesia in 2000.

Previously, he served as Functional Supervisor of Circulating Goods and Services at the Directorate of Trade Order, Directorate General of Consumer Protection and Trade Order (2020-2021) and Head of the Sub-Directorate of Proof of Losses, Directorate of Trade Security, Directorate General of International Trade Cooperation (2009-2010).

In addition, he has received several overseas assignments as Trade Consul in Hong Kong (2014-2019) and Trade Attache at the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore (2010-2014).
